By accessing, browsing, or using FirstShelf.AI ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and FirstShelf.AI. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
FirstShelf.AI is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform specializing in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)—the practice of optimizing e-commerce product listings to increase visibility and citation likelihood in AI-powered systems such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other large language models (LLMs).
Our Service provides the following core features:
The Service is designed for e-commerce sellers across all platforms (Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and others) and all product categories (digital products, handmade items, vintage goods, physical products, etc.).
To access the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or through Google OAuth authentication. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Contact us at Email us.
You may not: (a) share your account credentials with others; (b) create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits; (c) sell, transfer, or sublicense your account; or (d) use automated systems to access the Service without our written permission.
FirstShelf.AI offers three subscription tiers:
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly recurring basis through our payment processor, LemonSqueezy. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the applicable subscription fees.
Each subscription tier includes specific monthly usage limits. Limits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused allocations do not roll over to subsequent months.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free tier. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' prior notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
You retain all ownership rights to the product listing content, images, and other materials you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant FirstShelf.AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Content generated by our AI optimization tools (including rewritten titles, descriptions, tags, and generated images) is provided for your use. You may use AI-generated content in your product listings without additional licensing fees. However, you are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before use.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your User Content and any AI-generated content you implement complies with applicable laws, third-party rights, and the terms of service of your e-commerce platforms.
All content, features, functionality, trademarks, and intellectual property of the Service—including the FirstShelf Score™ methodology, Text GEO Metrics algorithms, user interface design, and underlying software—are owned by FirstShelf.AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.
You may not: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service; (c) remove any proprietary notices or labels; or (d) use our intellectual property without written permission.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
FirstShelf.AI provides optimization recommendations and analysis based on our understanding of how AI systems process and cite content. We do not and cannot guarantee specific results, citation frequencies, improved visibility, or increased sales. AI system behaviors change over time and are outside our control.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.
AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions. You must review all AI-generated content before use and are solely responsible for any content you publish.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIRSTSHELF.AI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FirstShelf.AI and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription (if applicable) and contacting us to request account deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FirstShelf.AI is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FirstShelf.AI regarding the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
